Yesterday, during the radio show Le Fou Du Roi on France Inter, Jean Michel Jarre denied the possibility of a concert on the Tian An Men square itself and declared all the announcements on web sites about this venue were wrong. Jean Michel confirmed the concert venue will be located inside the Forbidden City only, despite several web sites announcing the concert in Peking to be split up in a part inside the Forbidden City for VIPs and a part on the Tian An Men square for fans and normal spectators.

Possibly Jean Michel Jarre tries to hide the second phase of the concert on the Tian An Men square since performing a concert there would be very controversial after the events in 1989 on the square. Another reason could be that original plans for those two stages have already been changed.
