Reported at the start of the year was that long time collaborator Michel Geiss was planning to release his first studio album. The article led to some quarters denying the report, while Michel himself told Revolution that the project was in the early stages, and no definitive deal was signed with Deimos Music. However the project was still on-going and was by no means fiction.

We have just received the latest about the project, with Deimos Music issuing the following statement:

A solo album of Michel GEISS ?

As you know, Michel GEISS has been working with Jean-Michel JARRE as a musical collaborator, since the OXYGENE album. We feel strongly that Michel GEISS has a great musical potential, still to be discovered as an individual composer. We are trying to motivate both Michel GEISS and a major record company to get a full album recorded. As we thought you might be interested in such a project, we would be grateful to know if you would support us in our goal.
