The official Jean Michel Jarre website, jarre.net, is in the running for the 'Best French Artist Website' award at the annual Victoires de la Musique awards in France. The awards are something similar to the Brit awards recently held in the UK.

However, unlike most awards which are shortlisted to the top five nominations in each category, this award is open for all music fans on the Internet to vote for their favourite site. A total of 145 websites are listed with every major French artists listed, which naturally includes Jean Michel Jarre.
