Yeah, I thought about that too, it looks very close to the design of Okinawa, maybe uses some of that stage aswell :) Maybe this will be the next Vizitors gig ;D

The shipping containers are the backdrop, the original idea shown in the artists impression in Jan 2002 will not be fully implemented, basically down to cost and safety - it could get quite windy in such an open space and the props could pose as a danger.

After just seeing the concert prep. photos I was wondering is he just
going with the containers behind the stage for a visual backdrop or
are the multiple kite/screens going to be setup also as seen in the promo pic?anyone got any ideas?

Realy nice pics! Though now it's getting harder to decide where to stand to enjoy the concert, up front where the atmosphere (probably) will be, or far back and view it, since those container will be hard to see through ;) Well, I guess we'll see when we arrive :)
