The awards have never been shown on television to date, it is not like other music awards (such as The Brits or Victoires de la Musique).
In the past, only the news programmes in Belgium broadcast a short report on the awards, featuring some comments from a number of the attendees. However it is fair to say there has been attention during the past ceremonies due to the MP3 issue, still I expect reports to feature on Belgian television in July.
We will state on here on any media coverage concerning the IFPI Awards, so keep your eye on this site!

Pretty interesting news, so I'm very interested in further broadcasting details. Will we able to see this on TV or web? As i understood it, Jarre will be the host, so pretty big role. It'd be a pity to miss.
