CHRISTOPHE'S TRIUMPHANT COMEBACK AT L'OLYMPIA

on 17/04/2002.
The French male singer Christophe, for who Jean Michel Jarre wrote and produced the two albums Les Paradis Perdus and Les Mots Bleus, performed his comeback on the stage of L'Olympia in Paris, after an absence of 28 years of performing live, his last show being the legendary shows directed by Jean Michel Jarre and Dominique Webb (from the Hypnose single) in 1974.
After a private concert for journalists and VIP's on Sunday 10th March, Christophe performed to the public on Monday 11th March. The show included tracks from his latest outstanding studio album Comm'si la Terre Penchait, but also all his most memorable tracks from the sixties, seventies and eighties, including a lot of songs written by Jarre: Les Mots Bleus, Seņorita, Le Dernier des Bevilacqua, Le Temps de Vivre, Les Paradis Perdus, and La Dolce Vita.
The Revolution team was invited to this memorable (and emotional) concert and a complete exclusive gallery is online on this web site.
A CD and DVD is due for release in September/October, produced by Francis Dreyfus Music. This summer Christophe will be playing at various festivals such as Francofolies, followed by an indoor tour throughout France starting in September, with concerts back at L'Olympia on Wednesday 30th & Thursday 31st October.
